Proverbs 22:6 says…
Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.
What this verse is really saying is, “Train up a child according to his/her bent, and as they grow up the will stick to it an not be confused.
For decades we have misinterpreted this scripture to mean that I will bring my child up the way “I” am an not the way “He”, the God created child, is…then Fan the flame of the Gift that is within him/her.
